Who Is ADA CERP Accreditation For?
ADA CERP Accreditation is for dental professionals seeking to offer certified continuing education to the dental community.
All of the U.S. licensing jurisdictions that have currently implemented CE requirements for licensure renewal of dentists and allied staff accept the credits offered by ADA CERP recognized providers toward these requirements. However, each licensing jurisdiction may have additional criteria that must be met.
How To Get ADA CERP Accreditation
For new applicants, the initial recognition process may take seven to twelve months.
CE providers seeking ADA CERP recognition must first demonstrate that they meet CERP Eligibility Criteria though the Pre-application process.
Providers that have submitted a Pre-application and that the Commission has found to be eligible will be invited to apply for CERP recognition. The Commission will supply application materials and instructions for the next application deadline. Applications are accepted twice a year, usually in January and June, according to the published schedule.
