What Is RACE Providership?

In order to provide Continuing Education to veterinarians, you will need to become a RACE Provider through AAVSB.

The AAVSB’s Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) program develops and applies uniform standards for veterinary medicine continuing education. Our goal is to support the AAVSB member boards by ensuring that all RACE-approved continuing education programs meet appropriate standards of quality.

How To Become a RACE Provider?

Follow these steps to begin your application process to become a RACE provider:

1. Review standards, fees, and policies

2. Identify a Program Administrator: The Program Administrator will be the contact on file with RACE regarding the submitted programs. The Program Administrator also ensures the program submitted meets CURRENT RACE Standards. If the Program Administrator changes notify RACE of those changes.

3. You will complete your course applications in the CE Broker site
