About the Presenters:
Matthew Olsen, is Senior Business Development Manager for the international law firm Chadbourne & Parke LLP in New York City. He is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the firm's business development strategies and operations. Among other things, he is responsible for working with practice groups, partners and business development team members to capitalize on already identified business opportunities and to source new ones. He regularly analyzes and incorporates relevant internal and external data into business development projects. Prior to joining Chadbourne & Parke in 2011, Mr. Olsen was Business Development and Marketing Specialist at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP in New York City. Mr. Olsen earned his M.B.A. from Fordham Graduate School of Business and his B.A. from Clark University.
Lauren Piccolo, is presently Senior Manager of Business Development at Goodwin Procter LLP. Throughout her 12 year career, Ms. Piccolo has focused on developing newly acquired and high growth practice groups. She has particular expertise in developing performance metric and data-based decision making. Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Piccolo served in senior business development positions at Latham & Watkins LLP and Paul Hastings LLP. Ms. Piccolo has received the Legal Marketing Association's "Your Honor" Award and Paul Hastings' "Business Development STAR" Award. She has been published in Strategies: The Journal of Legal Marketing and The New York Law Journal among other publications. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association. Ms. Piccolo is in her final semester of the M.B.A program at Fordham University Graduate School of Business and also received her B.S. from Fordham University.
